World Fusion 3: an aural global guide…
Some of it reminds me of Sphongle, some of Deep Forest and then some of it is just beyond words...

It's my favorite CD right now...been playing it on repeat for a while. Thought you might be interested too. GREAT psy, electronic, world fusion, yumminess! (samples in link below)

Here is my review:

Taruna: World Fusion 3

Shaman Electro is proud to present the much anticipated “Taruna: World Fusion 3”, the final installation in the World Fusion Trilogy, available now at psyshop: www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/s...1cd001.html

If you are already a fan of Taruna, aka Jürgen Eppinger, you have probably been waiting patiently for the newest album of psychedelic-ambient-electronica, rich with ethnic atmospheres from all over the globe – and if so, you will not be disappointed. If you are new to the global sounds of Taruna, you are in for an amazing voyage to new destinations…

Begin your journey with a glorious Sunrise in Varanasi - complete with original recordings on the streets of Varnasi, tabla, sarod and sarenghi samples, along with the sweet sounds of bells, xylophones, female vocals and a mixture of psychedelic synths and jazzy influences….Then allow yourself to wind through The Dogon Mystery, find an Invisible Word, glide through Shamballa and Listen to the Shamans of the Amazon rainforest. Each song carries you deep into the heart of a new place within yourself, wraps you in the sights, sounds and smells of faraway lands, and calls you to awaken to the beauty of all of humanity.

World Fusion 3 showcases rich, textured instruments from all over the globe: sitars, xylophones, flutes, tablas, bongos, shakers, Tibetan singing bowls, Chinese Zeng harp, Javanese gongs, Balinese Rejong Gamelan (the list goes on an on and on) mixed with thick bass lines, beautiful ethnic melodies and psychedelic synths to create globally rich atmospheres of feeling, depth and dance….all while delivering only the most positive of messages:

This incredible power inside the brain is ready to be activated…
Respect Nature, Respect Life…
There’s an invisible world around you…
There is going to have to be a radical transformation…transformation…transformation
The human future will be designed on how conscious we are able to make ourselves…

Travel through the streets of India, climb the Himalayas of Tibet, sing with the choirs of Bali, visit African villages in prayer, chant with long forgotten tribes, soar with the eagles and walk with the jaguars (and meet Timothy Leary and Terrence McKenna along the way!)…World Fusion 3 will guide your mind into a global perspective of enlightening authenticity…through a balance of male and female, yin and yang…to the possibilities of self and world… Awaken to the world around you…

World Fusion 3: an aural global guide…

How often is this CD going to be plugged here?
I'm losing interest. In fact, I'm getting positively annoyed.

world tour for your ears
This time he’s come up with a small world tour for your ears that could be most accurately described as World music. Oriental and Near Eastern instruments and singing create a cosy temple atmosphere that would be great for enjoying around a camp fire and these tracks will definitely find a place in my Chill out sets. - liese , posted 12/12/06

Amazing Worldmusic for the Soul
Finaly available in europe @ www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/s...1cd001.html

review by Reese(interchill tribe) :
From the Amazon rainforests to the African jungles, Asian temples and river Ganges, this album not only takes the listener all over the world, but into multi-dimensional horizons and time zones.
Brilliant soaring vocals beautifully surrounded by profound spiritual instrumentation, warm textures and exquisite grooves throughout.
Divine orchestral maeuvres from flutes to strings adorn the open valleys of soundscapes that subtly emerge, intertwine and resonate far beyond the imagination.
A true journey from beginning to end, this album flows everso gently between light and dark realms, carefully taking us from a mystical psy~ambient sunrise to an upbeat celebration of luminous vitality (dance~tempo) at its peak... and finally letting us all float away in bliss for the finish.
